CamStudio - Unable to execute file: C:\Program Files\CamStudio 2.6b\Recorder.exe

        As we know that, Camstudio is a screen recording software for windows. With this software you can record your computer screen and audio form the microphone and save it in AVI format. It is 100% free for personal and commercial use. But after installing while you run the software some time you will get an error message like this: 




Unable to execute file:
C:\Program Files\CamStudio 2.6b\Recorder.exe

CreateProcess Failed; code 14001.
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is  incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

In this case, if reinstalling the application nothing will happen you will get same error message. So to solve this problem please follow the process below.





1) You might not have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 so download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) 





2) or you can try Camstudio 2.6c from
