Google has integrated Google Drive-based attachments in its email service so that users can now send files up to 10GB in size without leaving the Gmail page. Google Drive is a cloud storage service, like Microsoft SkyDrive and DropBox.
With Google Drive you can insert files up to 10GB — 400 times larger than what you can send as a regular attachment in Gmail.Because you are sending a file stored in the cloud, all your recipients will have access to the same, most-up-to-date version. In case all the recipients of the Email do not have access to the file in Google Drive or whenever you send a file from Drive that isn't shared with everyone, you will be prompted with an option to change the file sharing settings without leaving your email page.Users also have the option of simply pasting the links of Google Drive files in the compose box which they want to share with the mail recipients .
