Requirments to porting rom

1.    Windows xp/7/8

2.    7zip or winrar

3.    Stock Rom(Your mobile rom with all system file extracted with build.prop)

4.    Custom Rom( which you want to port)

5.    A bit patience

6.    Some basic Computer knowledge

What are Custom Roms ?

They are simply custom firmwares by developers like us and you. As, most of companies launches new android mobile rapidly, So they don't put lates updates for old android mobiles. i.e: Latest android version updates like KitKat or Lollipop. Custom roms are basically made to unlock all features of android mobile, by changing users interface and other things or to improve battery life.

Instructions to Port Mtk Rom:

1.     Extract both custom and stock rom in seprate folder names as ,for Custom rom name it as: Port            and for stock rom name it as Stock

2.     Open both folder side by side, go to system folder ofboth port and stock folder.

3.     Now, Open bin folder of your stock rom and copy these files"pq" and "vold".

4.     Replace both files from stock folder to port bin folder.

5.     Now , open lib of both stock and port folder and copy these files:

libcamalgo.so

libcamdrv.so

libcameracustom.so

libdpframework.so

libsensorservice.so

libsync.so

libvcodecdrv.so

Replace these files again to lib folder of port rom.

6.      Now, Go , to port folder and delete these files

vender

hw

modules

soundfx

(these files can be found in lib folder of port folder)

wifi

firmware

(these files cab ne found in etc folder of port folder)

Now, Paste all those deleted folders in port in repective folder from your stock rom folder.

7.     At last, Copy boot.img from stock to port folder and compress it in zip folder.
